Spend My Time In Silence

(back to music page)

'Spend my time in Silence' is a song based on a local Buddhist Monk called Geshe-la. Geshe-la is very down to earth fella who heads up the organization  called Drolkar in Paraparap, just outside of Torquay.

Spend my time in Silence:
Spend my time in silence                       almost every day
Cushioned in my hand, dusty seeds and a saline breeze, coming down my way
Chorus1:
Float my boat in the sun; I’m rags to riches
Don my robes and chant through the pictures, I can see,  It coming down my way
The things they talk about are just useless in my life, I'm one run hunter and I know they mean well
Bless and feed the need for deliverance in me, touched by the people who cushion the seed

Float my boat in the sun; I’m rags to riches
Don my robes and chant through the pictures, I can see,  It coming down my way

Spend my time in silence                    almost every day
The things I’d do in preference         are not even mine to contemplate-----so I

Chorus2:

Float my boat in the sun; till I get sick of it
Don my robes and dance through the thick of it, till I see, It coming down my way
